The Nominating Committee presented the following list of recommended officers and directors to the Board of Directors on Thursday, August 12, 2010. The Nominating Committee is made up of the following: The current President (Joan Govero), President-elect (Dan Buck), two (2) past Presidents (Roni Van Fossen and Deb Goodson) and two (2) members at large, (Wanda Sucharski and Norman Mason).

If anyone else is interested in running for an office, the following procedures, taken from the bylaws, must be followed.

“Additional candidates for the offices to be filled may be placed in nomination by petition signed by at least twenty percent (20%) of the REALTOR® Members eligible to vote. The petition shall be filed with the Chief Staff Executive at least two (2) weeks before the election. The Chief Staff Executive shall communicate such additional nominations to all Members eligible to vote before the election.

The election of Officers and Directors shall take place at the annual meeting. Elections shall be by ballot and all votes shall be cast in person. The ballot shall contain the names of all candidates and the offices for which they are nominated. If no other petitions for offices are submitted, then election shall be by acclamation.”
